Anything that describes a trip works — an email from a friend, a blog post, a list of places, a plan an AI wrote for you. You'll see which stops WHRNXT recognised before anything is saved, and can pin the ones it didn't.

That includes a trip somebody shared from another app or site, as long as the page is public: open it, select the itinerary, and paste it in here. Paste the words rather than the address — WHRNXT reads what you give it and never goes off to visit the page, so a link on its own has nothing in it to read.
